I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Mannheim. My core interest is how life-cycle forces shape outcomes in labor markets and household finance within a macro setting. I study how opportunities and risks unfold over the life cycle, linking aggregate conditions and institutions to job mobility and labor income using empirics and structural models. Ongoing work covers job-ladder dynamics—including the scarring from missed advancement opportunities—and a systematic-versus-idiosyncratic decomposition of labor-income risk, with an emphasis on its pass-through to households and their portfolio choices.
