Calvin Schumann
Calvin Joshua Schumann is an MSc Economics student at the University of Mannheim. He previously completed a BSc in Economy & Society (economic history) at Lund University, Sweden, with a thesis examining the relationship between firm-productivity and their export-initiation timing. During this time, he worked as research fellow for the Global Policy Research Group, co-authoring a policy paper on structural drivers of labor market inefficiencies in Jordan. His interests include, amongst others, (labor) search, the treatment of time horizons in economic theory, as well the spatial distribution of economic activity within and across locales.
