Francisco Scalco
I am a MSc Economics student at the University of Mannheim. I previously completed a BSc in Economics with a minor in Mathematics there, where my thesis studied how exchange-rate shocks shaped labor-market formality across regions with different exposure to traded-sector activity. I am currently working on monetary transmission in segmented credit markets, exploring how institutional features of credit allocation mediate the pass-through of interest-rate changes and their distributional consequences. More broadly, I am interested in macro-labor and inequality.
